We are looking for a creative and driven experienced Accountant to join our dynamic dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for working directly with owners and have the opportunity to interact with banks, vendors and other professional advisors.
The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, organized individual with superior math & analytical skills, strong verbal and written communication savvy.
• Familiarity with ERP accounting software programs is essential, and having experience with Epicor Kinetic is highly advantageous.
• Prepare reports that summarize and forecast company business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses, and earnings based on past, present, and expected operations.
• Prepare the annual budget with regular financial reports to senior management.
• Direct the preparation of all financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, tax returns and other report requirements.
• Provide timely and accurate analysis of budgets, quarterly financial reports and financial trends in order to assist management in performing their responsibilities.
• Coordinate and conduct formal meetings to review business results and variance vs. plan.
• Ensure compliance with all Corporate Policies and Procedures.
• Implement and enforce policies and procedures necessary to maintain general accounting records in compliance with accounting standards and ensure internal accounting controls and services.
• Provide technical financial advice and knowledge to others within the accounting/ finance department.
• Evaluate the finance/accounting structure and plan for continual improvement.
• Oversee the general accounting system, manage the month and year-end close processes, and assist with the external audit process as necessary.

• Ensure the proper processing of all payables and receivables
• Reconcile all intercompany accounts monthly
• Administration of the payroll process
• Evaluate and recommend insurance coverage for potential liabilities.
• Oversee the Human Resource functions including HR compliance matters including: 401(k), benefits negotiation, payroll reporting, etc.
• Assist in the contract management process, relating to compensation/employee agreements.
• Assist management in the preparation and review of existing and potential leases
• Manage the banking relationship
• Assist in the completion of special projects, as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or related field.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls
• Ability to manage and improve financial reporting processes
• Proven experience in previous accounting positions.
• Strong math, finance and analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.
• Experience working with CPA’s, Banks, and Private Owner.
• Logical thinker with a passion for numbers and budgets.
• Strong communication skills for working with cross-functional teams
• Valid driver’s license
